Short biography: | Mr Matengu completed his high school (Grade 12) in 2002, went to University of Namibia in 2003 where I studied Geography and Environmental Studies under the umbrella of tourism. In 2007 I went to Gobabeb Research and Training Center to complete a 6 Months Internship under Research Departments on Long-term Environmental Observation Network such as LTER and BIOTA Southern Africa. I was part of the Greenhouse Gas data collection for NOAA . At Gobabeb my mentor was Dr Joh Henschel the then Executive Director of Gobabeb Research and Training Centre, Dr John Irish, Dr Theo Wassenaar, Ms Roxi Siteketa and Mr Hiskia Mbura. I was part of the EIAs and Baseline biodiversity Assessment conducted by Gobabeb on behalf of Valencia, Langer Heinrich and Swakop Uranium Mine.
